Announcing Three-Year Commitment
Credit unions across the nation are committed to serving their members and communities. They live by the “People Helping People” philosophy and actively participate in charitable activities. CoastHills Credit Union is no exception. They have committed to contributing $15,000 per year for the next three years, in support of our Northern Santa Barbara County United Way Literacy 2.O initiative.
LITERACY 2.O
Literacy 2.O is a new framework to lift literacy and financial stability. It is a unified, collaborative effort to provide a platform for school-aged youth to begin saving/investing with a goal-setting mindset. United Way works with sponsors, donors and financial institutions to provide a stable platform for students to realize a financially secure future. In addition, literacy and family engagement programs offered by United Way provide the resources for personal growth.
We are grateful for the support of CoastHills Credit Union. It’s no wonder they are now the second largest locally owned financial institution serving the entire Central Coast region. Like our volunteers, CoastHills employees are often out in the community, sleeves rolled up, getting things done. Lending time, effort and financial support to the Central Coast, and we at NSBC United Way appreciate that!
