New Community Impact Specialist
NSBC United Way is pleased to welcome Maria McGlothlin to the team as their new Community Impact Specialist. She brings experience and expertise to fundraising and donor cultivation, implementation of best practices, and supporting Josh Wong with individual and institutional giving. Maria is a dedicated advocate for positive change, armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. She brings a passion for community empowerment and a drive to make a tangible difference.
Also includes working closely with individuals and companies, workplace campaign coordinators, campaign chairs and committees, San Luis Obispo County officials, and volunteers to develop necessary and desired relationships and resources. With a keen eye for identifying opportunities and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, Maria is poised to play a pivotal role in orchestrating impactful initiatives that address the pressing needs of our communities. Her enthusiasm for fostering genuine connections and her unwavering dedication to seeing results make her a valuable asset in the ongoing pursuit of a brighter future for all. Maria’s journey is not just about making a living but making a difference, one community at a time.
